I like to Ride my Bicycle: English for kids

In this lesson, we will learn some bicycle vocabulary and talk about bicycles.

Bicycle Vocabulary:

Helmet (noun) We use a helmet to protect our heads

Handlebars (noun) We use handlebars to hold onto and steer the bicycle

Steer (verb) To steer something is to make it go where you want it to go

Seat (noun) We sit on a seat

Brakes (noun) We use brakes to stop something or make it go slower

Pedals (noun) We use pedals to turn the wheels

Pedal (verb) The action of turning the pedals

Wheel (noun) The part of a bicycle that makes it move
